What you can expect from this site, and what it asks of you. Short, because it is a website about poetry.
Using the site
Read it, link to it, quote from it with attribution, print a page for yourself. What isn’t welcome is the obvious: don’t try to break it, don’t scrape it wholesale to republish elsewhere, and don’t use it to send anything unlawful.
The poems
Brian’s poems are covered by their own license, explained in his words on the licensing page. That page is the authority on what you may do with a poem — these terms don’t add to it or take from it.
Everything else here — the cover artwork, the photographs, the Digital Alphabet Books name and logo, and the design of this site — is not covered by that license and stays with its owners. The one deliberate exception is the press page, where the covers, bios and fact sheet are published specifically so that press and reviewers can use them.
Buying a printed book
Paperbacks are sold by Amazon, not by this site. Nothing is bought here: the buy buttons hand you over to Amazon, and from that point your order, your payment, the delivery, and any return or refund are between you and Amazon under their terms. This site never sees your payment details.
Links to other sites
This site links out to Amazon, to brianspoems.com, to brianmueller.com and to Creative Commons. Those sites are not under this one’s control, and linking to a site isn’t an endorsement of everything on it.
Accuracy
Everything here is published in good faith and kept as accurate as possible, but prices, availability and retailer links change without notice — Amazon’s listings especially. If something on this site is wrong, tell us and it will be fixed.
